Message I've gone to two alignment shops to have my Z aligned. First told me I had a bent front upper control arm, bad steering knuckle, and bad "knuckle extension" (all driver side). I pulled the upper arms (did adjustables) ONLY to find that the upper arms were both perfect.

So, I took my car to a different shop hoping they would get me aligned and be truthful. They told me they couldn't align the car for two reasons - 1) They said the steering rack bushings were worn and that my car had wheel play - 2) They said because the car has rear wheel steering that they needed a special tool to align the car (and they didn't have the tool). I bought some urethane replacement bushings - upon replacement, I found that the stock bushings still look like new (many hours of frustratation getting the driver side bushing on and I didn't even need it!).

So, what do you suggest - are there any nationally reputable alignment shops? I'm sick of the run around. My car's alignment is way out of spec - it pulls right - and the steering wheel jiggles around when I hit bumps!

No more alignment coupons for me!!!!!! I just want a good alignment!
